vs FactusolComparison

Cofactu vs Factusol — from Windows 2005 to the cloud in 2027.

Factusol is an honest classic: 15 years free, a huge installed base, and a 4.9 on Capterra. But it's still a desktop Windows product with the cloud as an add-on, support level sets what you pay (€19.50 → €46.50/month depending on channel), and the suite is split across 4 separate programs. Comparison with linked sources (June 2026).

What Factusol users say in 2026

Quotes and recurring patterns from Trustpilot, Capterra, and the App Store. We don't edit or cherry-pick the harshest ones — these are the most repeated complaints in verified reviews, with a link to the source.

"FactuSOL was completely free for 15 years. Since 2021 it has become subscription software with no perpetual option: after the trial period you must sign up for one of the paid tiers."

La Tienda del TPV · business model change analysis (documented paraphrase)

"Although an online version exists, the web experience isn't as smooth as cloud-native alternatives. There's no direct WhatsApp sending or automatic accountant sync, and Shopify/WooCommerce integration isn't native."

Verifacturamos · Factusol reviews and alternatives 2026 (documented paraphrase)

"The interface is fairly basic in design… having so many functions (inventory, purchasing, warehouse) makes it more complex than an invoicing-only program and can be a learning curve for anyone not used to an ERP."

Capterra · FACTUSOL reviews (synthesis of verified reviews)

"Factusol Cloud: digital support from €19.50/month, email support from €30.50/month, and phone support from €46.50/month — the support channel is what sets the price."

Migration

Assisted migration from Factusol

If you're coming from the DELSOL ecosystem (Factusol/Contasol), you don't start from zero:

  • Native Contasol accounting importer — chart of accounts, journal entries, and balances come in directly (the same importer we use for A3 and Sage).
  • Invoicing via Factusol Excel export — clients, products, and historical invoices with an editable preview before commit.
  • Auto-detected series and last number — we keep numbering right where you left off, no reset.
  • 30 days free to validate in parallel without stopping invoicing in Factusol. If you switch back, you take your data as a ZIP (CSV + PDF + XML + audit log) in 1 click.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Wasn't Factusol free?
It was, for 15 years, which is why it has such a huge installed base. Since 2021 it's subscription-only with no perpetual option: after the 30-day trial you have to sign up for a paid tier. If you've been on free Factusol for years and now have to pay anyway to comply with VeriFactu, it's a good moment to compare what those euros actually get you in 2026.
Does Factusol comply with VeriFactu?
Yes — Software DELSOL filed its responsible declaration and Factusol generates VeriFactu records (April 2026). We're tied on that. The difference is in the layer on top: Cofactu catalogs AEAT errors in plain language, detects broken hash chains (error 4171) and repairs them in 1 click, and warns you T-90/T-30/T-7 before certificates and powers of attorney expire.
I work on Mac. Can I use Factusol?
Factusol is Windows desktop software; on Mac you need the Cloud version (from €19.50/month), which comparisons themselves describe as less smooth than cloud-native alternatives. Cofactu has been a web app from the start: the same full product on Mac, Windows, Linux, or iPad.
I already do accounting in Contasol. How do I migrate?
Cofactu has a native Contasol accounting importer (alongside A3 and Sage): bring in your chart of accounts, journal entries, and balances. Factusol invoicing comes in via Excel export. Step-by-step guide at /migrar/factusol.
Where is Factusol honestly better?
Three things: its Capterra rating (4.9/5) is excellent and reflects a mature desktop product; desktop ERP granularity (price lists, offers, warehouses) has 20 years of iteration behind it; and if you work 100% offline on a Windows PC, the desktop model gives you full local control. If that's exactly what you need and the split suite doesn't bother you, Factusol is a solid choice.
