FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does Cofactu file it directly, or just download the file?
It files it directly. Cofactu generates the official BOE file (111), signs it with your .p12 certificate, and sends it to the AEAT. You get the confirmation CSV on screen in under 30 seconds.
What happens if the AEAT rejects my 111?
Cofactu shows you the error code explained and takes you to the exact field to fix. The draft stays saved so you can adjust and retry without starting over.
Do I need a digital certificate?
Yes. You upload it once (AES-256-GCM encrypted) and Cofactu reuses it for 111, 303, 130, 115, and the informational returns.
How does it reconcile with my payroll?
Cofactu has an integrated Payroll module. Each payslip generates accounting entries (640/465) and aggregates the period's withholdings into boxes 01-03 of the 111. If your payroll is set up correctly in Cofactu, the 111 reconciles on its own.
What about professionals with 7% withholding (new)?
Cofactu detects the default withholding rate per supplier (15% general, 7% first 3 years) and applies it to received invoices. You can override it invoice by invoice. Box 04-06 aggregates both rates.
When is monthly filing mandatory, and when is it quarterly?
Monthly if your transaction volume from the previous fiscal year exceeds €6,010,121.04. Otherwise, quarterly. Cofactu alerts you if you cross the threshold and should switch to monthly filing.
What about Modelo 190 (annual summary)?
Modelo 190 is the annual summary of the 111 (key A for payroll). Cofactu files it too — via TGVI Online v2.8 — aggregating the year's four quarterly filings (or twelve monthly ones).
