FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does Cofactu file it directly, or only download the file?
It files it directly, via TGVI Online v2.8 — the AEAT's proprietary protocol for informational returns. Cofactu is one of the few Spanish SaaS products that integrates it. You get the official CSV on screen in under 30 seconds.
What happens if the AEAT rejects my 190?
Cofactu shows you the error code explained and takes you straight to the specific recipient causing the issue. The draft stays saved so you can retry.
Do I need a digital certificate?
Yes. It's an AEAT requirement for TGVI. You upload it once (AES-256-GCM encrypted) and Cofactu reuses it for the 190, 347, 349, 303, 111, 130, and 115.
What is TGVI Online v2.8 and why does it matter?
It's the AEAT's proprietary protocol for sending informational returns (190, 347, 349). It requires mTLS, an X.509 v3 certificate, ISO-8859-1 encoding, and positional parsing. Almost no SaaS integrates it — most download a file and leave you to upload it manually. Cofactu does it directly.
Does it cover all keys of the 190?
Today we cover key A subkey 01 (employment income, standard employment relationship) — the majority coverage case. We add other keys (B/C/D/E/F/G/H/I/J/K/L) based on demand. If you need one, let us know (hola@cofactu.com).
How does it reconcile with the quarterly 111 filings?
Cofactu adds up the 4 quarters (or 12 months for large companies) and verifies that the 190 total matches the sum of withholdings from the 111. If there's a mismatch, it warns you before sending so you can investigate.
What if I switched software partway through the year?
You import your previous 111 filings (with CSV) into Cofactu, and the 190 reconciles automatically. The chain of custody is rebuilt from your imported data.
