Migrate from Anfix to Cofactu without losing a single invoice

Anfix is built for accounting firms; many individual self-employed users find it too complex and outdated in UX. If you want a modern cloud tool with real VeriFactu, PSD2 banking included, and 1-click AEAT filing, bring your data over in under 5 minutes via the official API or the Excel export.

No card required · Free plan forever · Migration at no cost

During the migration

Migrate with peace of mind — nothing gets lost along the way

No history lost

Your invoices keep their original numeroCompleto and issue date. The Cofactu VeriFactu hash chain starts clean from your first new invoice, with no collision with the Anfix numbering.

Zero invoicing downtime

Keep invoicing in Anfix while Cofactu imports in parallel. When you're ready, cancel the subscription — your data in Cofactu stays right where it is.

No lock-in

If you ever want to leave, export ALL your Cofactu data in 1 click (clients, invoices, expenses, PDF + signed XML, VAT ledger). We don't block the exit.

Step by step

Two ways to bring in your data

Automatic API sync (the fast option) or uploading your Excel/CSV export. Both cover clients, products, and invoices from Anfix.

Recommended

Option A · Anfix API

1

Get your Anfix API key

~ 1 min

Go to Anfix → Settings → API → Generate token. You need the Profesional plan (€19.90) or higher.

If you're on a lower plan or you're an accounting firm client without API permissions, use option B (Excel export). Cofactu only needs read permissions. The key is encrypted with AES-256-GCM on our server.

2

Paste it into Cofactu Settings → Integrations

~ 1 min

Create your free Cofactu account and paste the API key into Integrations → Anfix.

If you don't have an account yet, the signup wizard takes you to the integration step after verifying your email.

3

Import with one click

~ 2-3 min

Cofactu brings in your clients, products, and historical invoices as reviewable drafts.

Invoices arrive in draft status. Those that already had an AEAT CSV (filed via Anfix) are imported as accepted and are NOT re-submitted — no risk of duplication.

Alternative

Option B · Excel/CSV export

1

Export from Anfix

~ 2 min

Anfix → Invoicing → Lists → Export to Excel. Repeat for Contacts.

Anfix lets you export the full VAT ledger (Input/Output VAT). If you're an accounting firm with multiple clients, export each one separately — Cofactu imports them into separate organizations under your accounting-firm account.

2

Upload the files to Cofactu

~ 1 min

Create your free account and go to Invoices → Import → From another program → select Anfix.

The parser detects the Anfix format automatically. If your export has custom columns (cost centers, tags), you get an editable preview to map them to Cofactu fields.

3

Confirm + go

~ 2 min

Review the preview with N invoices + M clients and hit Import. Done.

Invoices keep their original Anfix numbering and arrive as drafts. The Cofactu VeriFactu hash chain starts clean with your first new invoice.

After migrating

What you get in Cofactu that you didn't have in Anfix

Before · Anfix
  • Modern UX, not a decade old
  • Real VeriFactu with an error catalog
  • PSD2 banking included on every plan
  • AEAT forms filed directly (unique)
Now · Cofactu
  • Modern UX, not a decade old

Cofactu is redesigned for 2026: command palette, keyboard shortcuts, responsive dashboard, dark mode coming soon. Anfix carries legacy UX built for advanced accounting-firm use — solo self-employed users feel lost in nested menus.

  • Real VeriFactu with an error catalog

Cofactu files with AEAT from day 1 with an official CSV. AEAT error catalog explained (1xxx/4xxx/5xxx), automatic broken-chain detection (4171), 1-click repair. Anfix has it but less polished.

  • PSD2 banking included on every plan

40+ Spanish banks via Enable Banking (EU-regulated AISP). Sync every 6h, auto-reconciliation with invoices, and T-7/T-3 alerts before re-auth. On Anfix, banking depends on the plan.

  • AEAT forms filed directly (unique)

Cofactu files 303/111/130/115 + 190/347/349 with AEAT and returns the official CSV. Anfix generates the file but you submit it manually. The only Spanish SaaS that closes the loop.

Clean chain

Your VeriFactu hash chain starts clean with your first new invoice

Invoices you already sent to the AEAT from Anfix keep their CSV — we don't touch them. From your first invoice in Cofactu, the SHA-256 hash chain links up whole, signed, and verifiable, with no baggage from the past.

  • Anfix history imported and searchable
  • New chain linked and signed from day 1
  • Automatic repair if an invoice breaks the chain (error 4171)
Once you've migrated

File your AEAT tax forms directly from Cofactu

Where Anfix makes you download the file and upload it manually to the AEAT portal, Cofactu files it directly. Covers all 7 forms with the official CSV saved in an immutable audit log.

Are my invoices already sent to AEAT from Anfix re-submitted?
No. Cofactu detects the ones that already have an AEAT CSV and marks them as 'accepted (imported)' — they are not re-submitted. The Cofactu VeriFactu hash chain starts clean with your first NEW invoice.
Do I lose Anfix's change/audit history?
Anfix's internal logs stay in Anfix — our importer doesn't extract them. But from the moment of import, Cofactu keeps its own immutable audit log with a hash chain.
Does it work with any Anfix plan?
Yes. The API requires the Profesional plan (€19.90) or higher; the Excel export is available on every plan. If your accounting firm hasn't given you API access, go straight to Option B.
How long does it take with 500 invoices?
API: 3-5 minutes (paginated sync). CSV: 2 minutes of upload + parse + commit. The preview shows before the commit so you see exactly what will be imported.
I'm an accounting firm with several clients in Anfix, how do I migrate?
The Cofactu Gestoría plan (€49) covers unlimited clients with native multi-tenancy. You import each client as a separate organization under your accounting-firm account. Bulk XLSX import lets you upload several at once.
What about my tax forms filed from Anfix?
The filing data stays in Anfix; Cofactu imports the invoices, expenses, and payroll that SUPPORT those forms. From there, Cofactu aggregates and files the next 303/111/130/115 directly with AEAT.
Can I also migrate recurring invoices and quotes?
Yes. Recurring invoices are imported as Cofactu templates (same client, same amount, same cadence). Quotes arrive as quote drafts, not as invoices.
