Migrate from Factusol to Cofactu without losing a single invoice

Factusol stopped being free in 2021, and today phone support alone costs €46.50/month in the Cloud plan. If you have to pay anyway to comply with VeriFactu, compare what those euros actually get you: bring over clients, products, and invoices via Excel export, and your Contasol accounting with our native importer (the same engine we use for A3 and Sage).

No card required · Free plan forever · Migration at no cost

During the migration

Migrate with peace of mind — nothing gets lost along the way

No history lost

Invoices with their original numbering and date, clients with their full tax details, and, if you're coming from Contasol, the entire accounting (chart of accounts, journal, balances). Cofactu's VeriFactu chain starts clean with your first new invoice.

Zero invoicing downtime

You can keep invoicing in Factusol while you try Cofactu in parallel during the 30-day free trial. When you're ready, cancel your DELSOL subscription — no cutover, no forced transition period.

No lock-in

If you ever want to leave, you can export ALL your Cofactu data in 1 click (clients, invoices, expenses, journal entries, signed PDF + XML). Transparency runs both ways.

Step by step

Bring your data from Factusol

Factusol doesn't expose a public API: export your lists as Excel/CSV and our parser, tailored to its exact format, reads them.

Only method

Excel/CSV export from Factusol

1

Export from Factusol

~ 2 min

Factusol → Invoicing → reports/listings → export to Excel. Repeat for clients and items.

Factusol exports to Excel from any listing (Office/Excel button on the ribbon). You need 3 files: issued invoices, clients, and items. If you use Contasol for accounting, also export the chart of accounts and the journal — Cofactu imports them natively.

2

Upload the files to Cofactu

~ 1 min

Create your free account and go to Invoices → Import → From another program → select Factusol.

The parser detects the DELSOL column format. Editable preview before commit: you see exactly which invoices, clients, and products are about to come in, and you can map any custom column.

3

Import your Contasol accounting (optional)

~ 2-3 min

Accounting → Import → Contasol. Chart of accounts, journal entries, and balances come in directly.

It's the same accounting importer we use for A3 and Sage: it respects your journal entry numbering and marks them as imported (they don't enter Cofactu's immutability chain, which starts with your first new entry).

4

Confirm + go

~ 1 min

Review the preview with N invoices + M clients and hit Import. Done.

Historical invoices keep their Factusol numbering and come in as searchable history. Your series picks up where you left off — Cofactu's VeriFactu chain starts clean with the first new invoice, as required by law when switching invoicing software (SIF).

After migrating

What you get in Cofactu that you didn't have in Factusol

Before · Factusol
  • Everything in one product
  • Any operating system
  • Human support with no paid tiers
  • VeriFactu with a safety net
Now · Cofactu
  • Everything in one product

In the DELSOL ecosystem, invoicing is Factusol, accounting is Contasol, payroll is Nominasol, and the till is TPVSol — each with its own subscription. In Cofactu, invoicing, accounting through to the balance sheet, payroll, POS, and bank reconciliation all live in the same plan.

  • Any operating system

Factusol is desktop Windows software; its Cloud version exists but is a later add-on. Cofactu is a web app from day one: the full product works the same on Mac, Windows, Linux, or iPad, and the PWA lets you invoice and scan receipts from your phone.

  • Human support with no paid tiers

In Factusol Cloud, the support channel sets the price: digital €19.50, email €30.50, phone €46.50/month. In Cofactu, human chat during business hours is included in every plan — we don't charge you for us helping you.

  • VeriFactu with a safety net

We both comply with VeriFactu — the difference is the layer on top: an AEAT error catalog in plain language, 1-click detection and repair of a broken chain (4171), proactive email if AEAT rejects a submission, and T-90/T-30/T-7 alerts for certificates and power of attorney.

Clean chain

Your VeriFactu hash chain starts clean with your first new invoice

Invoices you already sent to the AEAT from Factusol keep their CSV — we don't touch them. From your first invoice in Cofactu, the SHA-256 hash chain links up whole, signed, and verifiable, with no baggage from the past.

  • Factusol history imported and searchable
  • New chain linked and signed from day 1
  • Automatic repair if an invoice breaks the chain (error 4171)
Once you've migrated

File your AEAT tax forms directly from Cofactu

Where Factusol makes you download the file and upload it manually to the AEAT portal, Cofactu files it directly. Covers all 7 forms with the official CSV saved in an immutable audit log.

hola@cofactu.com Talk to support
Are my invoices issued from Factusol re-submitted to AEAT?
No. Imported invoices come in as searchable history — they aren't re-submitted or duplicated. Cofactu's VeriFactu chain starts with your first NEW invoice, which is exactly what the law requires when you switch invoicing software.
What exactly does the Contasol importer bring in?
Chart of accounts (with your custom accounts), journal entries, and opening balances. It's the same accounting import engine we use for A3 and Sage. Imported entries are marked as historical; Cofactu's immutability chain starts with your first new entry.
I use the old free version of Factusol (pre-2021). Can I migrate?
Yes — the Excel export works the same in older desktop versions. In fact it's the most common case: VeriFactu forces an upgrade, the free version no longer exists, and it's the natural moment to compare your options before paying up.
What happens to my items, price lists, and offers from Factusol?
Items and base prices are imported in full. Factusol's multiple price-list structures and volume offers don't have a 1:1 equivalent — the importer brings in the main price, and the rest ends up in a review CSV for you to decide how to map it.
How long does it take with 1,000 invoices and 5 years of accounting?
The invoicing Excel file processes in 2-3 minutes with a preview beforehand. The Contasol import depends on the size of the journal: a typical fiscal year comes in within 1-2 minutes per year. Everything with a preview before commit.
What about the POS? I'm coming from TPVSol.
Cofactu's POS (till, F3 tickets, Z closing, per-warehouse stock) is included in the Pyme plan — you set up your location and till in minutes. TPVSol's ticket history isn't imported as tickets, but its aggregated sales do come in through the invoice Excel file.
